Our Story

A case is never just a case.

The origins

Pino Brancato could never sit still. In Switzerland, as a department head in a watch factory, he had learned that quality is not improvised — it is built, one gesture at a time, with your hands and your head.

But there was something inside him that no factory could fully contain. So while he worked, he was already selling. First pasta, then jewelry. If there was something to be done, Pino did it.

In 1973 he opened the family jewelry store. But his creative restlessness never left him.

1987

One evening in 1987, walking with a colleague, the conversation turned to a company that manufactured boxes. He went home with a single idea in his head.

Let's make the case.

It wasn't a gamble. It was the move of someone who knows the industry from the inside and understands that a jewel doesn't end when it leaves the goldsmith's hands. It ends when it reaches the hands of the person who receives it.

And everything in between — the box, the pouch, the ribbon, the print — already tells a story about that jewel.

They started in twenty square meters. Five brothers, each with their own role.

No business plans, no investors. With the same determination Pino had brought from Switzerland: head down, hands busy, forward. Growth was the natural consequence of working this way.

sqm production facility

First a hundred square meters and a new piece of machinery. Then a five-hundred square meter production facility.

A production that had found its definitive calling: packaging for jewelry and goldsmithing, crafted with the same care a goldsmith puts into working metal.

Production today

Every piece is born in-house, from a single sheet.

Today Astuccificio Brancato produces everything needed to present a jewel as it deserves. Cases, premium paper shoppers, die-cut suede pouches, boxes, ribbons, bag closures.

Machines chosen one by one over nearly forty years. No detail delegated to someone who doesn't feel it as their own.

Our specialization

Hot foil stamping.

Gold, silver, colors that don't shout but shine. We apply it to every surface: cases, shoppers, even double satin ribbon, which we print in-house because certain details are not to be delegated.

For orders requiring complex images and color schemes, we work in four-color offset printing, with the same precision we put into everything else.

In-house production

Nearly forty years have passed since that evening walk. The spaces have changed, the machinery too, the volumes as well. But the DNA hasn't.

Pino's entrepreneurial spirit is still here — in every package that leaves this facility, in every hot foil stamp that catches the light the way only a jewel knows how.

Because a case is never just a case.
It's the first gesture with which a jewel meets the world.
